Have a private Yoga session whilst on your holiday in Noosa.

I will come to you with Yoga mats and props and design a class for an individual or a group.

“We spent a magical family week at Little Cove, Noosa, made all the better with Amber coming to us daily at home to teach us yoga. Amber's knowledge of the body and proper alignment was fantastic. Within the first 15 minutes, she had worked us all out and knew immediately where we needed guidance to grow our personal yoga practice. Amber was very kind and patient with us - we were aged between 6 and 70 years and of all different yoga levels! Thanks so much, Amber, We look forward to practising yoga with you again soon x

“I was on holiday for a week with my family in January and I have always wanted to learn yoga more deeply than being in a class. Ambers's teaching was perfect. Now back in Sydney I still do weekly online yoga and coaching with Amber. I am so thankful to have found such an amazing person to help guide me on my path to better wellness. “

  • Peregian Beach Saturday Group Yoga Class

The Yoga with Amber Class at Peregian Beach is held at the Peregian Beach Community Centre at 8 am.

This is a drop-in class and is suitable for all levels of practice. The Class is different each week and is a mixture of Hatha and a Vinyasa Style of Yoga taught by Amber.

Alignment is critical, and you will learn a lot as we continue in the session.

“I look forward to my Saturday morning class every week.”

“I love starting my weekend off with Yoga with Amber on Saturdays; it’s just perfect.”

“Amber’s teaching always challenges me, and I love the way the class has a relaxed atmosphere. We always have a chat at the end, and it makes me feel part of a community.”

“The best way to start my Saturday. Time for me”

“Ambers's skill to really teach alignment is incredible. I highly recommend you give this class a go.”

  • Private sessions

Dive deep and learn all about alignment strength and how to move YOUR body in the way that suits you.

We are all individual, so not one size fits all classes work for everyone. Some private courses work well for people looking to take their practice to the next level. Or for people working with injury or sickness that might need specialised attention.

“Working with Amber for over six weeks has been amazing. I have learnt so much about my body and my capabilities. It has certainly opened my mind to how little I had connected with my body as it ages.”

“I have always wanted to practice yoga but have been too embarrassed to go to a group class. After six weeks with Amber gave me confidence that I can do yoga in my way, so classes, as I travel, are no longer a problem.”

Yoga - The art of being relaxed in a stressful situation

I say this because this is what yoga teaches you. Yoga teaches us to be present with our body and our mind.

It teaches us that we might not want to hold a pose like a warrior pose in the photo above.

Yet, the lesson is in feeling uncomfortable as you hold that pose and then breathing deeply enough to be okay with being uncomfortable with the knowledge that it will pass.

Why do you need yoga?

Maybe you are saying to yourself, "I'm not flexible, so I can't do yoga". Or "yoga is too slow, and I need something that moves faster." Maybe the question you are asking is, what's in it for me?

Believe me, I get it and I've heard it all. I have probably said it all to myself at different stages of my yoga journey.

So what's in it for you? Apart from increased flexibility, a calmer mind, a more muscular body, a healthier immune system, stillness and a general feeling of being a more content person…. nothing.

One of the great yogis, Vanda Scavelli, said: "The only reason we practice yoga is because it makes us feel good and our body thanks us for it its that simple"

The best thing is to just give it a go.

Me and Yoga

Yoga is a fantastic gift and practice to have in one's Life. I have been practising and studying Yoga for over 30 years. As a high performer, and someone who is actually quite competitive, Yoga is the one thing that has kept me grounded and allowed me to focus and live Life in a very conscious and present way.

Now at 55, I am genuinely grateful to Yoga for helping me age well.

Yoga is a way of Life, and that is what I love about it. I love the way I feel when I am doing Yoga. I love the calmness that comes over me just from sitting on my mat, but I also love the people Yoga has allowed me to meet. If you know me well, you know that I am an intense, strong-willed person, and, as my husband says, "a worry wart" Yoga has helped me to deal with my irrational thoughts, bringing me back down to earth, it Grounds me. I hope to share my love of Yoga with you in one of my classes, my private sessions or on one of the retreats.
