Welcome to Yoga with Amber. I love yoga, I love teaching yoga and I love sharing how yoga can make your body and mind feel strong, energetic and stable.
I relate life to Yoga. Life can be uncomfortable at times and doesn't always go the way you want it to, but if we sit with it and breath through it, we come out the other side with strength, compassion and a willingness to move forward.
Yoga came into my life over 30 years ago and I have been teaching Yoga and healthy habits for over 25 years. My Yoga style is a unique blend of Hatha, Vinyasa and Ashtanga, that I think represents my dynamic personality and passion for life, adventure and balance.
I am married to an adventurous soul and we have 3 children. After living on 2 sailing boats for 2 years at different times with the family and moving 15 times in the last 18 years, I decided 3 years ago to take my business online.
So you can learn with me privately from anywhere in the world. Either live online or through my yoga App. I run Yoga Retreats in Bali and Europe 4 times a year and would love to share that with you, so please check those out.
I also believe that Yoga should be taught in all schools. Imagine if we had all been introduced to yoga from the age of 5. Ive been lucky enough to teach Yoga in Primary and High Schools for over 10 years, running a program that fosters non-competitiveness and enhances flexibility, self-confidence, co-ordination and calmness in children.
I think we all need to have a guru/mentor and I have been fortunate to train with international teachers Richard Freeman and Seane Corne. As well as Simon Borg Olivier who has had a big influence on me, my teachings and my personal practice.
